Our community is where you belong.Reporting directly to the Director of Operations & Product, the General Manager is the heart and soul of our Pure Barre studios.
The General Manager is a key influencer in building the Pure Barre brand, runs the daily operations and long-term strategies of the assigned studio(s), and oversees the development of all studio sales staff.
Meet financial goals, such as but not limited to:revenue, labor cost, COGS, etc.
Generate new leads using grassroots marketing, networking and paid social media campaigns
Communicate monthly studio revenue goals to staff and update staff on progress throughout the month
Calculate month-end commission totals for sales team and submit to payroll manager
Understand studio financials and implement expense management techniques for cost savings
Leadership/Time Management
Availability includes days, nights and weekends working in the studio in order to connect with staff and clientele, in studio shifts will include at least one night and one weekend day per week.
Collaborate with Pure Barre GMs and Leadership to share best practices and streamline operations and sales processesUnderstand the Pure Barre technique, and communicate regularly with the teacher training team to ensure that the technique is being delivered consistently and effectively
Oversee the interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training and development of all studio sales staff
Collaborate with Director of Operations & Product and Pure Barre GMs to update staff protocols as needed
With Director of Operations & Product, analyze class schedules to maximize utilization and attendance
Own studio scheduling process including making necessary changes in scheduling software (both ClubReady and When I Work)
Merchandise
Work with VP of Operations & Talent and Director of Operations & Product to strategically plan what product is needed and execute orders to support client needs and strategize sales and offers
Change out retail floor and design displays weekly
Oversee inventory and move between studios if necessary
Special Events and Partnerships
With Director of Operations & Product and Director of Marketing, organize and staff on-site pop-up classes, trunk shows, in-studio food samplings, etc.
Attend events and book new leads, sign up new members and close immediate salesBuilding/Studio Maintenance
Be knowledgeable with troubleshooting any and all equipment issues, including sound systems and backup systems, and minimize the use of external technicians
Ensure the studio is maintained and desk staff are properly executing regular cleanings
Astute in managing multiple relationships and the ability to keep an eye on the big picture/strategic objectives while, at the same time, handling the details of the day to day business
Bachelor's degree preferred
Studio/retail management experience a plus
