    Job Summary:

    Collaborating under the guidance of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, this role involves providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services to adult and/or child members seeking psychiatric evaluation for various mental health needs. The position entails working closely with primary care providers and a team of psychiatric and allied health professionals to chart individualized treatment plans.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Consulting with supervisors and psychiatrists on members' progress and treatment.
    • Offering support to members' families, educating them on treatment, and providing interventions to enhance treatment acceptance.
    • Utilizing public and private resources to fulfill members' treatment needs and make referrals to external resources when necessary.
    • Participating in program development, implementation, and assessment within the department.
    • Ensuring safety by reporting concerns to relevant authorities.
    • Developing and evaluating clinical treatment programs for members with mental illnesses, conducting psychotherapy, and educating patients and families on therapeutic regimens.
    • Documenting treatment progress in compliance with regulations and standards.
    • Collaborating with physicians in evaluating patients for medication needs and offering behavioral health consultation to primary care providers.

    Secondary Responsibilities:

    • Delivering therapy services to youth exposed to significant trauma.
    Requirements:
    • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field.
    • Must obtain required licenses within specified timeframes.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Experience in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions.
    • Proficiency in interpersonal communication and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
    • Expertise in Evidence-Based Practice, psychotherapy, and bio-psycho-social functions related to mental health.
    • Ability to develop effective treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions.
    • Commitment to quality service, teamwork, and multi-tasking.
    • Experience in crisis intervention and a multidisciplinary clinic setting is preferred.
