Program Manager to lead and drive the planning and strategy for optimization of our 3P carrier partnerships.The Global Mile Destination Operations team is responsible for the movement of inventory from our North American ports to Amazon Fulfillment Center locations.
We utilize multiple inbound strategies to control costs while optimizing for speed to deliver a best-in-class product offering.We are the face of Amazon for our international sellers and an advocate to properly balance the network to minimize supply chain disruptions.

As a Senior Program Manager, your primary day-to-day focus is to lead the optimization of our 3P carrier partnerships. You will focus on understanding the barriers faced and develop strategies to mitigate impact to performance.You will need to model out operational scenarios and write documents to influence mid/long-term decision making that ultimately impacts our cost structure and speed performance.
You will also partner with internal and external stakeholders to quickly pilot new ideas and write the roadmap for longer term implementations.

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
5+ years of program or project management experience
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Experience with third party vendor or carrier integration, contract management, or performance management
Knowledge of SQL
Preferred Qualifications
PMP
5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
5+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques
