Job Summary and Responsibilities

Saint Joseph Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterology physician to join our team in Lexington. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice General Gastroenterology in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Offer Includes:

• Competitive salary guarantee for up to 3 years and a lucrative production model after guarantee period.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Successful completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program in U.S. or Canada
• Successful completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program in U.S. or Canada
• Open to new graduates

License/Certification:

• Kentucky License/Eligible
• DEA
• Board certification or active participation in the examination process

Essential Duties:

• Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities
• Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards
• Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility
• Educate patients on both clinical and managed care
• Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate
• Function as an effective clinic team member
• Meet productivity standards
• Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information

Saint Joseph East is a 217-bed, full-service community hospital in the rapidly growing southeastern section of Lexington, Kentucky. Pay Range$484,914 - $739,269 /year
