    More about what your day-to-day may look like:

    • Facilitate the design of new products for vehicle wash equipment.
    • Support engineering changes made to existing vehicle wash equipment.
    • Collaborate with Technical Service Representatives:

    to ensure customer feedback is included in product development

    to educate the Technical Service Representatives on releases and upgrades

    • Work on the creation and assembly of prototypes to validate design concepts and functionality.
    • Manage costing and deadlines associated with new designs.
    • Develop 3D models and 2D drawings that accurately represent the design specifications.
    • Develop documentation for our manuals, sales literature, training program, and website.
    • Choose appropriate components based on project requirements, functionality, and reliability.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to source components that meet design specifications and quality standards.
    • Coordinate in-house and field testing of vehicle wash equipment.
    • Analyze RMA (warranty) data to identify trends associated with component issues.

    Qualifications

    • Championing attitude regarding customer service
    • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize projects
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Comfortable interacting directly with customers and suppliers
    • Minimum 3 years Mechanical Design experience
    • Solid model and 2D drawing software experience
    • Associate degree in Mechanical Design or similar degree
