This is anexciting opportunity to be cross trained in interventional cardiology, electrophysiologyand cardiac imaging.

While the fast-growing demand for cardiac imaging has led to the departmentseeking an additionalphysician assistant to help establishan improved patient workflow and experience.
In this highly autonomous role, you will practice at the highest levels of your profession while working at one of the top cardiology centers in the country.
The physician assistant will assist in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in both an inpatientand outpatientsetting.The PA will work collaboratively with theattending physicianandinterdisciplinary team to ensure optimalpatientcare and proper communication with family members.

When scheduled to work in Cath lab/EP hours would be as follows:3 x 12.5 hrshifts per week; Weekend/night rotation included.
When scheduled to work in Cardiac Imaging hours be would as follows:4 x 9.5 hrshifts per week: No weekend/night coverage.
Prior experience as a PA in radiology and/or cardiology
Required Criteria
Bachelor's or master'sdegree in physician assistant studies
NYS licensure
NCCPA certification
