Description

As an Advanced Mechanical Engineer, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing, developing, demonstrating, producing, assembling, testing, and delivering torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies.

• Designing and analyzing components and electro-mechanical assemblies
• Creating and maintaining mechanical solid models and drawings using SolidWorks
• Creating and managing bills of material (BOM) within our data management systems
• Developing fixtures and equipment to support testing and production efforts
• Developing and presenting PowerPoint slides documenting design progress
• Participating in various technical and program meetings on a weekly basis
• Developing technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.
