- Prepare customer invoices as per client contracts, including AIA/percent complete billing as necessary. Collaborate with project team to address and resolve billing issues.
- Allocate costs for projects in line with the monthly accounting cycle.
- Maintain customer and project records internally and on external billing platforms.
- Facilitate requests for insurance certificates, supplier waivers, and other essential project documentation.
- Generate certified payroll and MSHDA documents when needed.
- Handle other related tasks as they arise.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in customer billing or accounting roles, with a preference for individuals with construction or progress billing background.
- Strong math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Understanding of fundamental bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines set by both internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of FileMaker and job costing software is an added advantage.
