    Insight Surgical Hospital is a small, friendly, and minimally invasive surgical center and clinic with patient services second to none We are proud of our fast-paced, patient-focused, team-oriented environment with professionals in neurology, orthopedics, pain management, chiropractic, gastroenterology, podiatry specialties and more.

    Our Hospital and Clinic do not treat general illnesses, including COVID-19, and has required health safety measures in place for everyone prior to entering the facility, including temperature and symptom checks, required PPE and other health hygiene measures.

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our Warren hospital location in providing patient care second to none Duties include hospital rounding, recording patients' medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and creating patient care plans.

    You will also be first assist in the operating room for neurosurgical and orthopedic surgeries. This position does involve some call and weekend requirement, some clinic duties.

    Performing first assist duties in an operating room
    Hospital rounding on surgical patients and surgical consults
    Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
    Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
    Diagnosing health issues
    Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
    Detecting changes in patients' health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
    Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury
    Master's degree from an accredited nursing or PA program.
    Previous experience within field or related work environment is preferred
    APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
    Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work.
    Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
