- Technical Diploma from a Respiratory Care program
- Two (2) years of respiratory care experience.
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued through an organization that requires hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Current Respiratory Therapist license - PA
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification within two (2) years of date of placement into position.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
