    Description

    Job Title: LPN GIG at Mercy

    This position offers a flexible incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse role with variable shift incentives and opportunities to work in various specialties, including Medical-Surgical, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and more.

    • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under supervision of licensed professionals or RN direction.
    • Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.

    Floating between designated Mercy Hospital facilities allows flexibility in scheduling. Position requires one year recent bed-side LPN experience for Med Surg specialty; two years for Critical Care (CC), Emergency Department (ED) or Behavioral Health (BH). Certifications required include BLS ACLS PALS IV certification. Physical demands include prolonged standing walking gripping reaching bending kneeling twisting squatting pushing pulling lifting 50 pounds regularly.

    The Gig Nursing Program requires scheduling responsibility minimum hours availability on short notice last minute shift cancellation no weekend holiday or shift requirement guaranteed hours.
