- Performs mammogram exams on patients.
- Gathers patient history, prior films/reports, and any other necessary role-related information.
- Conducts Quality Control (QC) procedures as required.
- Offers imaging support to other modalities within the center.
- Handles mammogram letters (results/reminders).
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- Graduate of a State approved Mammography program required.
- ARRT (M) certification required.
- State license mandated, if applicable.
- CPR Certification necessary.
- Valid state driver's license, if applicable.
- Must have met initial requirements under MQSA standards.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of computer applications and programs.
- Sit, stand, walk.
- Perform repetitive movements of hands, arms, and legs.
- See, speak, and hear effectively to communicate with patients.
- Stoop, kneel, or crawl.
- Climb and balance.
- Carry and lift (ability to move non-ambulatory patients for transfer or examination).
