    Description

    As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing and improving our manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our production facilities.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Process Optimization/Implementation: Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to optimize productivity, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste. Implement manufacturing process in production line.
    2. Process Development: Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, including process validation, equipment selection, and production line layout design.
    3. Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality control teams to establish and maintain rigorous quality standards for production processes. Conduct process capability studies, root cause analyses, and corrective actions to address quality issues and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
    4. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce production costs through process optimization, waste reduction, and resource efficiency improvements. Evaluate alternative materials, technologies, and suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
    5. Equipment and Tooling: Collaborate with engineering teams to select, install, and commission new equipment and tooling for production processes. Develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
    6. Training and Documentation: Develop training programs and provide guidance to production personnel on new processes, equipment operation, and best practices. Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, equipment specifications, and operating procedures.
    7. Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Facilitate brainstorming sessions, root cause analyses, and process mapping exercises to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
    8. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations in all aspects of process design and operation. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to protect personnel and equipment from hazards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on plastic injection molding or automotive manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).Familiarity with CAD software and process simulation tools is desirable.
    • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
    • Strong problem-solving skills. Be able to use tools, such as 5 why, fish bone, DOE, to systematically resolve process issues
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
