Primary Services is excited to announce the role of IT Support Technician for a large, industry-leading organization with a complex national footprint. This position supports enterprise Technology Services End User Operations, ensuring employees across the corporation have the hardware, software, and services necessary to operate efficiently. The IT Support Technician plays a key role in lifecycle asset management, operational reporting, financial coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle processes for hardware and software assets, including computers, monitors, printers, mobile devices, data plans, and corporate applications.
- Submit purchase orders and process invoices in alignment with procurement and financial policies.
- Audit asset records for accuracy, compliance, and inventory control standards.
- Generate dashboards and Excel-based reporting to track growth metrics, trend analysis, and operational performance.
- Utilize ServiceNow for ticket management, asset tracking, and reporting.
- Support forecasting, budgeting alignment, and financial tracking related to asset procurement and services.
- Maintain asset databases and ensure adherence to governance processes, SLAs, and corporate policies.
- Monitor software licensing, entitlements, and packaging compliance.
- Facilitate coordination meetings with internal stakeholders and strategic partners.
- Contribute to benchmarking and process improvement initiatives to enhance end-user services.
- Adhere to cybersecurity, physical safety, and security protocols.
- Provide consultation and operational support to end users as needed.
- Support emergency operations events when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in IT asset management, operational services, or end-user lifecycle support.
- Working knowledge of SAP components and enterprise application environments.
- Experience with ServiceNow for ticketing, asset management, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and O365 cloud applications, including Microsoft Teams.
- Experience generating dashboards, operational metrics, and trend analysis reports.
- Understanding of procurement processes, purchase orders, invoice processing, and budgeting protocols.
- Knowledge of hardware asset inventory controls and software asset management licensing.
- Familiarity with enterprise network infrastructure and computer operating systems.
- Understanding of governance frameworks, SLA compliance, and cybersecurity risk mitigation.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies supporting operating platforms.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to budgeting and forecasting activities.
