    Join our Level 1 Trauma Center Main Campus Emergency DepartmentPrimary Patient Population:

    Acutely ill pediatric to adult patientsLevel 1 Trauma CenterPrimary skills utilized/learned:Patient AssessmentsPatient TriageTrauma careIV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertionTime management, critical thinking, delegatingPersonnel RN will work with :LPNs, Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Behavioral Observers (BO), ProvidersNumber of beds on unit:93 beds (Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) included)10 Trauma Bays80k+ patient visits annuallyAwards or Recognitions the unit has received:Level 1 Trauma CenterLantern AwardStroke CertifiedMetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance.

    Required Qualifications:


    Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of OhioCurrent AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire.


    Preferred Qualifications:
