- Support the VP of Sales and the sales team on all aspects of sales, product commercialization and customer support.
- Interface with the R&D group to support product development efforts, help coordinate key customer feedback via testing labs, assist in the collection and presentation of VOC feedback and participate in physician preference evaluations (PPE) of new devices.
- Help coordinate and facilitate visits to key accounts by members of the engineering and management team by working through the sales team.
- Work with the customer care team to develop efficient systems to best serve customers and patients. Develop metrics for measuring customer success and above and beyond customer service with our team.
- Manage customer care team and ensure that each member has their needs met and are meeting their goals and accomplishing tasks effectively.
- Work closely with Finance and Operations to oversee order processing, shipments and invoicing while being proficient in QuickBooks to be able to generate sales reports for the organization.
- Interface with customers with the potential to visit accounts to facilitate customer follow-up or to participate in new product evaluations.
- Oversee the development of the sales rep credentialing process for both RepTrax and VendorMate to assure access to visit key customers and accounts. Also overseeing process for other team members to assure proper credentials and access to accounts as well.
- Work with production and R&D and Marketing to help forecast demand for products to inform build schedule.
- Implement and maintain Salesforce software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years Medical Device Experience
- Experience in ERP System as a manager - Experience with Epicore in a plus.
- Experience in Salesforce or other CRM/CMS.
- Experience in working at a senior management team level to develop corporate strategies.
- Experience in Customer Care strategies and planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities.
- Intermediate/Advanced skills in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
- Ability to travel occasionally to support the sales efforts of the company or to attend industry tradeshows.

Position Summary
The Customer Care Director manages a team or unit of customer care representatives and ensures service levels are met or exceeded. They report to the VP of Sales. In addition to working closely to support the sales staff, the individual will interface with and on some level support additional areas such as finance, research and development, and operations. This role monitors and measures metrics and feedback to develop standards, improvements, or changes to processes. They may also gather data to make recommendations for changes to products or services based on customer feedback and requests.
