    Business Development (Emerging Markets)

    ManagerWe are currently accepting applications for a Business Development (Emerging Markets) Manager.

    This position requires 80% of time spent out in the markets in the southern parts of Santa Clara County (and surrounding counties) and 20% of time based in our San Jose Corporate Office.

    As our Business Development (Emerging Markets) Manager, your major responsibilities will include:

    Drive membership, deposit and loan growth through active business development activities and achieve assigned growth goals.

    Build a distinct market presence by promoting ComonWealths commitment to financial wellness; lead and coordinate financial wellness-related events including but not limited seminars, webinars, and individual financial counseling sessions.

    Lead, participate, organize, drive, and execute business development events to increase awareness of the organizations brand (including its commitment to financial wellness) and share the benefits of being a CommonWealth member.

    Build relationships with key business leaders by attending chambers of commerce events and conducting outreach to businesses operating in these communities.

    Utilize various channels, including networking events, conferences, and digital platforms, to prospect and engage target business.

    Identify and assess business development opportunities in the south Santa Clara County, San Benito, and Monterey County and beyond; develop and execute a market research plan consisting of strategies and tactics to leverage those opportunities.

    Establish relationships with key community stakeholders by engaging with city officials and community leaders.
    Partner with Credit Union leaders to develop promotional products and services to drive in new memberships, deposits and loans.
    Partner with branch leaders to develop relationships with existing members and the leadersbusiness development acumen.
    Assist in identifying additional emerging markets for future expansion opportunities.
    Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of similar or related experience. Outside sales experience required. Bachelors degree preferred. Proven ability to generate new business, acquire new members and enhance existing external relationships required. Must feel comfortable making cold calls when required. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal). Must possess a professional demeanor and project a professional image while representing the Credit Union. Ability to maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself with a high level of diplomacy and tact. Must have reliable transportation.


    Pay Range:
    $87,231 - $109,039; based on skills and experience.
