- Assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide support and training to school staff on strategies to promote students' independence and participation in the educational environment.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Valid California Occupational Therapist license.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- At least one year of recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
