Job summary
our child first clinician partners with a family support partner to engage families who are referred to the child first home-based intervention.
+- helping caregivers understand typical developmental challenges and expectations;
- increasing caregivers' ability to reflect on the meaning and feelings motivating a child's behavior;
- susporting carer-givers problem solving;
- familiarity working psychotherapeutically with culturally diverse children and families including parent-child therapeutic work play therapy with young children 0-5 years for minimum of three years.,knowledge of relationship-based psychodynamic intervention early childhood development parent-child relationships attachment theory effects of trauma environmental risks early childhood brain development especially violence exposure maternal depression substance abuse community-level risk factors poverty homelessness experience providing mental health assessment consultation early care education sites knowledge experience working adults mental health substance use cognitive challenges ability speak second language spanish highly valued strong commitment vision mission goals highly organized self-motivated reliable flexible willingness work non-traditional hours including evening able work part team communicate well verbally writing comfortably computers experienced word excel reliable vehicle appropriate insurance home visits master degree social work clinical psychology closely related field required colorado license preferred lpc lcsw lmft
