The position will require determination, creativity, and will test your technical expertise, communication, sales skills, and project leadership capabilities. Support the UC philosophy focused on facilitating the growth of the organization, continually improving quality, and driving to a world class safety environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Search for new customers and markets
Key contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and superior customer service
Create and implement solutions to customer problems
Facilitate communication between internal teams and customer teams
Achieve or exceed sales target goals
Support the sales team with project entry and maintenance in ERP system
Support sales team with follow up on pricing, orders, quality, etc.
Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities
Collaborate with all UC departments to ensure our customers are provided with the required resources to ensure timely project movement
Work within the team selling approach
Follow UC Quality System-approved work instructions and procedures and help improve these as needed.
Responsible for successful facilitation of all company safety policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience, Training, and Skills:
2-5 years experience, knowledge and technical understanding of plastic resins, molding operations and customer uses.
Experience in color masterbatch or plastic sales, a plus
Knowledge of injection molding and blow molding processes
Entrepreneurial business approach
Excellent communication and organization skills
Professional attitude and ability to respond to changing priorities of the business.
Ability to handle confidential materials and information.
Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, Plastics, Business or related field
