- Serves as therapist in IOP and continued care groups, as well as provide individual therapy as needed for SUD and/or mental health disorders
- Organizes and makes educational presentations related to behavioral health and recovery
- Develop patient-centered treatment plans based on results from the screening tools and bio psychosocial assessment
- Collaborates with medical staff and treatment team as a whole
- Consults with family members and referral sources in order to coordinate patient care
- Ensures adequate case management services are identified and addressed
- Responsible for maintaining electronic health records which include documentation of treatment activity and progress
- Ensures that patient records are accurate, comprehensive and meets regulatory standards
- Must hold one of the following types of licenses in the state in which services will be provided:
- LGADC: Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- LMSW:Licensed Master Social Worker
- LGSW: Licensed Graduate Social Worker
- LGPC: Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
- A minimum of three years supervised counseling experience.
- Strong administrative, verbal and written communication skills
- Must hold one of the following types of licenses in the state in which services will be provided:
- LCPC: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
- LCSW-C: Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Certified
- LICSW: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
- LPC: Licensed Professional Counselor
- LSATP: Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner
- LCADC: Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- A minimum of three years supervised counseling experience.
