Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met consistently
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, processing customer orders and payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in menu planning to accommodate dietary needs and special requests, supporting overall meal presentation and variety
- Serve food to customers with professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours, supporting a positive dining experience
Experience
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service demonstrates strong culinary skills
- Experience with fine dining environments or catering adds value to your application
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Skilled in knife work, meal preparation, and general kitchen operations
- Familiarity with menu planning and accommodating dietary restrictions enhances versatility in this role
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience provides a solid foundation for success in this position
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
