    About the team
    TikTok is seeking a Benefits Data Processing Specialist to support our HROP team. This is a hands-on role that handles the day-to-day benefits data projects and ensures data accuracy.

    Responsibilities
    Audits and maintains data entry in the benefits system on a regular basis to review data accuracy and compliance.
    Works with payroll department closely to ensure the benefits deduction data accuracy.
    Prepares per-cycle benefits eligibility files for payroll processing.
    Handles paperwork related to the benefits process, such as disability claims, 401(k) adjustment, etc.
    Timely files benefits activities.
    Creates standard or ad-hoc reports out of benefits data systems to ensure compliance with US, state, and federal reporting guidelines
    Supports benefits operations in employee communication and follow-ups.
    Supports other benefits activities as needed.

    Qualifications

    "Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree
    Proficient in using various Microsoft Excel formulas to handle large volumes of data.
    Minimum of 1 year of full-time/internship experience in human resources, familiar with the U.S. benefits system and related laws and regulations.
    Great HR mindsets of employee data confidentiality and employee service.
    Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment to handle multiple, competing priorities, and short deadlines.
    Strong collaborative partnership skills to ensure the effective resolution of inquiries.
    Excellent learning ability, careful and patient, and with strong work enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience working in a start-up/fast-paced environment

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (hourly)

    The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $26- $40.


    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.

    Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
