- Operating farm, agriculture, and other heavy equipment.
- Assisting with farming services such as application, tillage, planting, and harvesting.
- Perform preventative maintenance on farm-agriculture equipment and trucks.
- Driving semi-truck delivering corn, soybeans, and other crops.
- Assist in other areas of the farm when needed.
- Prior operating experience with farm, agriculture, and other heavy equipment. We are willing to train
- Basic mechanical knowledge working on farm and other heavy equipment.
- Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to work longer hours during planting and harvest seasons. Flexible work hours in the offseason.
- Overall passion for the agriculture industry.
- Ability and willingness to learn.

Welcome to Melberg Farms We're a large progressive family-owned and operated farm in South Central Minnesota. We produce and deliver several cash crops including corn, soybeans, sugar beets, sweet corn, peas, and wheat. We're hiring a Farm Equipment Operator to join our team in Hector, MN (about 80 miles southwest of Minneapolis). In this role you will be operating large agriculture equipment and participating in tillage, application, harvesting, and truck driving.
We pride ourselves on providing a very family friendly and laid-back atmosphere but focus on high productivity and efficiency as well. Most of our machinery is new or next to new John Deere equipment with the latest technology.
We offer competitive hourly compensation of $19-$25 depending on experience, health insurance allowance, short-term housing available to the right person, bonuses, and paid vacation.
