    Description

    Graphic Designer

    Our client, a prominent investment management company, is in need of a Graphic Designer to join their Retirement Plan Services (RPS) marketing team, focusing on creating B2B marketing materials for plan sponsors and advisors. The creative team consists of copywriters, graphic designers, presentation designers, animators, and production designers.

    This position is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract role that requires a hybrid schedule based in Owings Mills, MD.

    Pay Rate: Up to $38/hr depending on experience

    Graphic Designer Responsibilities:

    • Contributes to developing creative design concepts that effectively engage clients; may lead small projects or campaigns.
    • Collaborates with Editorial staff for content contributions and final reviews.
    • Utilizes design theory and tactics to create multimedia materials.
    • Participates in creative meetings for project initiations and brainstorming.
    • Creates conceptual designs for marketing campaigns.
    • Presents ideas, gathers feedback, and integrates it into design tasks.
    • Ensures design consistency, brand alignment, and integrity following style guidelines.
    • Works with technology teams to test user experience design for digital platforms.

    Graphic Designer Required Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in design or graphic design certificate required. Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred.
    • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design.
    • Strong creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.
    • Proficiency in various media formats including print, electronic, and film.
    • Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and grasp design aesthetics.
    • Experience in computer-based layout creation and image generation.
    • Familiarity with Adobe publishing and graphic software.
