    As a Sales Representative for our established orthodontic manufacturer client, your mission is to apply comprehensive knowledge of the client offering and promote it to accounts to facilitate trial and full integration of the client's orthodontic system and manage existing clients.

    Our client is currently backfilling a sales role covering all of Virginia based in Richmond. You will sell directly to professional orthodontic business owners (practices) and their teams. Prior experience in orthodontics is very helpful, but not essential. Prior B2B success in dental is very helpful.

    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUse a consultative sales approach to demonstrate our client's solutionAchieve annual sales targetsPlan and execute an area territory plan based on your understanding of the potential of customersManage a defined geography of accounts to promote the client offering to new and existing customersUtilize analytics to help drive customer's decision makingFoster positive relationships with orthodontic practice team members (Treatment Coordinators, Office Managers, Assistants) within targeted practices.

    Build relationships within, utilizing a consultative and collaborative approachDeliver Clinical Training and presentations both virtually and in person to a variety of customer types as well as internal audiences, to maximize implementation, utilization and integration of technology and refining office processesDemonstrate leadership by displaying strategic thinking, having a global and company mindset, focusing on results, acting customer centric, and continuously developing skill setsStay active and engaged with important orthodontic related organizations to stay abreast of trends and changes in orthodontics that impact our business and customersOrchestrate additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of client's offeringEffective and independently manage booking of travel within company guidelines; ensuring to adhere to personal expenses and expense reporting requirementsBe creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently with a high sense of urgencyAttributes Challenger Sales Approach w/ great business acumenAgileEager to learn/ResourcefulProblem solverReliable, Trustworthy & PunctualTeam playerBachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 2 years outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experienceIndustry experience selling a medical device, capital equipment, dental, orthodontic, or other relevant B2B experienceComfort with having clinical conversations with orthodontistsProven track record of achieving sales goalsIf you think you at the very least meet the expectations, please apply and you will be contacted by a member of Dental Team Finder to review your qualifications.
