    Systems Engineer, Lead


    Key Role:


    Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoD, government agencies, and systems engineers, and plan space and ground system acquisition programs.

    Help the client integrate GPS system user equipment across a large stakeholder community and manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk.

    Lead and manage the GPS Security certification acquisition management processes for DoD acquisitions.

    Develop and enforce GPS user equipment security certification and approval acquisition processes, including DoD cryptography, information assurance and cybersecurity, program protection and anti-tamper, and Military Standard Order procedures.

    Prepare, process, and review various acquisition documents to ensure compliance with government requirements, processes, and policies. Provide acquisition knowledge and counsel to government acquisition offices.

    Basic Qualifications:

    8+ years of experience with DoD program protection or anti-tamper implementation
    8+ years of experience with DoD GPS software and system engineering, including software and hardware acquisition, development and integration, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, and cryptography
    7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, contract management, and business operations
    Experience with project management
    Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    Knowledge of ASIC chip design, FPGAs, and integration into ASICs
    Ability to interact in cross-functional team meetings and professional environments
    Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and act as a conduit between the engineering team, senior leaders, and clients
    Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS


    Additional Qualifications:
    Experience with the DoD acquisition system
    Experience with GPS and navigation technologies and systems
    Experience working with new technology programs for embedded systems
    Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
    Possession of excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
    TS/SCI clearance
    Masters degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
    Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level II or higher Certification in Engineering or Program Management

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220, annualized USD).

    The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
