    We're seeking a dynamic Manager of Plumbing Engineering to lead our Retail Business Line. In this role, you will blend technical leadership with people development, guiding a team of engineers and designers while nurturing their growth and skill enhancement. Your expertise will be essential in delivering outstanding technical solutions while achieving operational efficiency and catering to our clients' needs.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred; a High School Diploma or GED is required.
    • At least 12 years of progressive experience in the relevant field is essential.
    • In-depth knowledge and skills in engineering design and industry standards are mandatory.
    • Familiarity with earned value and construction processes is required.
    • Proficiency in design software like Revit and Bluebeam Revu is necessary.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and engineering design software is a must.
    • Demonstrated ability to foster trust and collaboration within teams.
    • High emotional intelligence with the capacity to lead empathetically through challenges.
    • A passion for mentoring and guiding team members in their professional journey.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; adaptable to changing circumstances.
    • Must possess a proactive mindset, capable of effectively managing tasks independently and collaboratively.
    • Must be trustworthy and handle sensitive information responsibly.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly desired.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., BEMP, CPD, NICET) are preferred.
    • Sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED) are beneficial.
    • Experience as an Engineer of Record (EOR) is an advantage.

    Essential Duties:

    • Lead a team of engineers and designers, promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment.
    • Act as a hiring manager and coach, facilitating staff development and performance assessments.
    • Schedule projects effectively, ensuring alignment between staff capabilities and project scopes.
    • Engage in quality assurance and enhance project quality outcomes through regular reviews and feedback.
    • Oversee project coordination, manage communication with clients, and ensure project delivery meets expectations.
    • Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team while staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
