    Description
    Position Goal

    Assist Physician(s) with clerical activities. Complete administrative duties as required.

    Position Responsibilities:
    • Assist in administrative duties as required, to include but not limited to: scheduling appointments, data entry, and assisting secretaries.
    • Completion of insurance, disability, and FMLA forms in a timely manner
    • Communicate restrictions and instructions to patients
    • Communication with outside facilities for tests or surgery, tracking test results/reports.
    • Encourages teamwork environment.
    • Familiarity with what the physician requires for a productive clinic.
    • Review and maintain charts to ensure completeness/EMR guidelines w/reviewing clinicals.
    Experience:

    Required:
    • Six (6) months customer service experience
    Preferred:
    • Six (6) months or greater of Medical office experience
    Education:

    Required:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    Special Qualifications:

    Required:
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Must have working knowledge of HIPAA requirements
    • Must have knowledge of the health care field and medical specialty.
