    Description
    Position Summary: The Collector's main responsibilities include managing an individual collection queue of accounts, making outbound collection calls, establishing payment arrangements with delinquent customers, documenting all conversations with customers and systematically following up on delinquent accounts. Answers incoming calls as necessary.

    Hours: Full-Time (40 hours), Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Alternating Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    Essential Functions:
    • Manage a collection queue of approximately delinquent accounts.
    • Make approximately 55 collection calls per day to delinquent customers. Answer incoming calls as necessary.
    • Thoroughly document all conversations with delinquent customers.
    • Provide loss mitigation options and establish acceptable payment plans with delinquent customers.
    • Process incoming checks and credit card payments over the phone.
    • Perform skip tracing responsibilities.
    • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
    • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
    • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
    • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
    Qualifications:
    • Previous banking or collection experience preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and in working with other financial software.
    • Good math skills.

    Working Environment:
    Primarily indoor work, moderate exposure to outdoor elements or hazards.

    This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.
