Senior Accountant of External Reporting - Southlake

Job summary
As part of Sabre's External Reporting team, you will take on interesting and challenging responsibilities which include preparation of Sabre's quarterly and annual filings with the SEC review of earnings releases and investor presentations preparation of certain financial statements including income statement statement of comprehensive income balance sheet statement of stockholder's equity and/or cash flow statement ownership of various footnote disclosures and drafting MD&A In this position you will have the opportunity to interact with a broad and diverse group that includes Treasury Finance Investor Relations Legal Tax Internal Audit You will report to the Senior Manager of External Reporting The team is made up of collaborative diligent diligent professionals that seek to support our corporate business partners with timely reporting accounting driving value for stakeholders while upholding Sabres values Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant Of External Reporting Include Prepare coordinate various aspects prepare consolidate financial reports perform reconciliation calculations basic diluted EPS update footnotes work closely auditors reviews proxy statements media accuracy consistency Review iXBRL data associated quarterly annual SEC filings ensure accuracy prepare month-end close journal entries account reconciliations build maintain strong relationships colleagues FP&A Investor Relations Legal Treasury Tax Internal Audit Education Certifications Bachelor Master degree in Accounting required CPA license preferred Experience Skills Three or more years experience accounting firm large experience SEC reporting process required Ability research document conclusions Experience cash flows stock compensation basic diluted EPS iXBRL Workiva SAP Hyperion Financial Management HFM Strong organizational time management skills continually prioritize workload respond top priorities sense urgency Detail-oriented ambition willingness dive details accomplish responsibilities solve problems Exceptional interpersonal skills effectively internal external stakeholders Excellent verbal written communication skills Benefits Perks Competitive generous Paid Time Off weeks PTO first year days Volunteer Time Off VTO Year-End break Dec Dec We offer comprehensive medical dental vision Wellness Programs Paid parental leave infrastructure flexible working arrangements Formal informal reward recognition acknowledgment programs
