    We are seeking a compassionate and patient part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The Laurels of Massillon. As an LPN, you will provide skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation care to our valued guests.

    About the Role

    The LPN is responsible for planning, coordinating, providing, and managing nursing care services and health education to our guests. Key responsibilities include:

    • Supervising the care provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)/State-Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) and other team members
    • Assessing the health of our guests and notifying physicians of changes in status
    • Selecting and instituting appropriate nursing interventions to stabilize a guest's condition and/or prevent complications
    • Contributing to the guest's assessment (MDS/CAA's) and developing a plan of care

    Requirements

    We prefer candidates with 1-3 years of experience in a long-term care setting. This role requires a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to our values of compassion, concern, and excellence.
