    Psychology Specialists of Maine (PSM) has become the largest and most highly regarded multidisciplinary group of psychologists and psychiatrists in Maine. We provide evidenced-based psychotherapy for individuals, groups, and couples, present and host advanced clinical seminars, and train and supervise postdoctoral residents in our an APPIC member postdoctoral training program.

    Psychology Specialists of Maine (PSM) attracts psychologists who are strong generalists with specific areas of specializations, offering expertise in various treatment modalities, mental health issues, and client populations, PSM is a mission-driven center with a focus on mentoring our staff to foster personal and professional growth. Recognized for providing the highest compensation and most comprehensive benefits package of any therapy center in the state of Maine, we also support our staff with regular clinical consultations groups, monthly lunch and learns and regular clinical training seminars, and grant funds for external CE training. We provide exceptional leadership and administrative support to fully support you in your role as a psychologist.

    BENEFITS for CONTRACTED AFFILIATES OF PSM
    • A flexible schedule of your choice with a minimum of 8 hours weekly and maximum of 16 hours weekly.
    • Steady stream of adult clinical or assessment referrals for any and all openings (full schedule prior to start date).
    • Full-time administrative and clinical support for billing, benefits checks, collections, intake scheduling, EHR data entry, and marketing.
    • State of the art and efficient systems for electronic health records, HIPAA tele therapy platforms, email, phone, fax and document storage and marketing.
    • Monthly clinical consultation group and in-house brown bag lunch and learn meetings
    • Free continuing education credits through our lunch & learn and seminar series (PSM sponsors 24 CEs annually)
