RN Director of Medical Surgical - Kansas City, MO

Job Summary:

The Director of Nursing manages the financial and clinical operations of assigned areas and recommends qualified competent persons to provide care.

Integrates department services with the hospital's primary function. Coordinates and integrates services within departments. Develops and implements policies and procedures that guide and support provisions of services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree required & Masters preferred.
RN State licence required.
BLS required and maintained. ACLS optional.
Five (5) years of current clinical nursing experience required.
Must have at least 2 or + years of Director level experience in a Med Surg unit or 5+ years of strong manager level experience in a Med Surg unit required.
