Job Description

The Med/Tele Nurse will support both the General Medical/Surgical unit (2 North) and the Observation Unit. Nurses may float between the two based on staffing and patient needs, providing care for adult to older adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients in both 2 North and Observation Units.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the appropriate medical staff.
• Administer medications and IV infusions as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and evaluate plans of care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living when necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid nursing license, BLS certification and experience in a Med/Tele setting is preferred.
