The Observation Unit Nurse provides high-quality patient-centered nursing care to individuals requiring short-term evaluation.- Frequent reassessment coordination timely intervention for patients with diverse medical surgical conditions.
- Performing timely comprehensive initial assessments implementing adjusting care plans administering medications treatments IV therapies diagnostic prep per protocol monitoring vital signs labs diagnostic results providing patient education coordinating care with physicians multidisciplinary teams documenting assessments interventions facilitating admission transfer discharge workflows responding urgent situations performing emergency interventions maintaining compliance infection control safety protocols participating performance improvement activities.
