Dispatchers perform primary communication coordination organizational duties required to deliver safe reliable efficient friendly service for public transportation daily Dispatchers maintain communication between Transit Operators Expediters and the Dispatch Center process leave requests for Transit Operators Expediters and Dispatch Staff ensure all leave requests match CBA WTA policies report irregularities to appropriate Operations supervisory staff schedule extra-board Operator assignments working with the dispatch team to assure absence needs are covered monitor employee reports via Sign-In-Terminal SIT OPS alerts perform WTA employee Fit for Work checks schedule passenger rides in Paratransit ensure compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act ADA WTA service standards maintain confidentiality of WTA rider personnel records information coordinate bus swaps with Expediters Fleet Lead Techs.
