    About the Role:

    Our Client is a small boutique law firm located in Oceanside, NY is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with attorneys on a variety of legal matters and provides the potential for professional growth and advancement within the firm. In addition, this position also offers and opportunity work with diverse clientele in a collaborative and dynamic setting.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues
    • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements
    • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and negotiations
    • Assist senior attorneys in case management and strategy development
    • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
    • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal issues
    • Attend client meetings and participate in case conferences and strategy sessions
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
    • Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed to support the firm's operations
    • Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to the firm's practice areas
    • Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of legal practice

    Salary:

    Commensurate with Experience.

    Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
    • Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing
    • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a similar practice area or setting
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficiency in legal research tools and software applications
    • Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service
    • Experience in civil litigation, real estate, or estate planning is a plus but not required
