    Responsibilities:

    Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.

    Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

    Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.

    Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information, address questions or concerns, and provide tax advice and guidance.

    Review financial statements, accounting records, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of tax reporting.

    Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates and implications to clients and team members.

    Supervise and mentor staff accountants and junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

    Collaborate with other members of the tax team and cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive tax services and solutions to clients.

    Maintain professional relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service at all times.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; Master's degree in taxation or CPA certification preferred.

    5+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in public accounting or a related industry.

    Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

    Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, UltraTax, Lacerte) and Microsoft Excel.

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    Ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

    $80,000 - $90,000 a year
