ASSOCIATE MANAGER - Rockville, MD, United States - Emagine IT

Emagine IT has an immediate need for an Associate Manager to join our team in support of our FedRAMP Team located in North Bethesda, MD, with remote availability
Candidate must have the ability to obtain a government security clearance

Responsibilities include:

• Support system security assessments within cloud-based environments in accordance with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, 800-37, OMB, and other authoritative IT security guidance
• Provide support and direction for scheduling, project sequencing, and resource management; assist with managing client expectations and performing project management
• Prepare, review, and/or update, and maintain IT Security supporting artifacts; provide IT security guidance to Information System Owners
• Identifying information security problems and challenges, researching and developing technical solutions to rectify them
• Act as Project Manager for 3PAO client engagements
• Manage 1-2 teams of 2-3 personnel
• Perform as lead in assessment and advisory engagements
• Review of CSP documentation, provide technical and recommendations
• Review pen testing and vulnerability scans findings (as needed)
• Co-lead with Kickoff meeting with Director of Commercial and Federal Services
• Conduct client meetings as defined in each engagement
• Management level review of team work papers
• Mentor and train supporting team members
• Work with Director of Commercial & Federal Services to present packages to JAB
• Perform role of Sr

Minimum Requirements:

• 7-10 years of experience with IT Security Auditing
• Strong FedRAMP and NIST experience (in order of preference): FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, NIST SP /CMMC, DoD CC SRG, RMF
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical audiences
• Broad based IT background with a technical understanding of networks, protocols, security configurations, cryptography, identity and access management, and systems development life cycles
