Job summary
The Communications Electronics Maintenance Instructor's Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Deliver classroom and practical instruction on the configuration, operation, and maintenance of ACV FoV communications systems and subsystems.Instruct service members on the use of very small aperture terminal-expeditionary (VSAT-E), high frequency (HF), very high frequency (VHF), super high frequency (SHF), and ultrahigh frequency (UHF) radios (vehicular and manpack), including antennas and power sources.
Guide students through establishing contact with distant stations, performing frequency changes, using cryptographic equipment, and maintaining radio equipment to first echelon standards.
