    Description

    The ideal Nurse Practitioner wants to be part of a team. She/he understands the need to treat the root cause of the problem not just mask a symptom. She/he understands that health comes from within and the job of the practitioner is to guide the patient to healing. The NP works collaboratively with the other clinicians on the team to accurately diagnose the true cause of the patient's pain and helps to develop a treatment plan that decreases the patient's pain but more importantly understands true pain relief comes from correcting the dysfunction that created the pain in the first place.

    Practical tactical skills include:

    • Proficiency in orthopedic exam
    • Proficiency in musculoskeletal diagnosis
    • Ultrasound guided PRP and HCTP joint injections
    • Weight loss consultations
    • Nutrition consultations
    • Prescribe and management of semaglutide
    • Telehealth consultations on weight loss progress
    • Diagnosis of peri-menopausal symptoms
    • Ability to prescribe and monitor Hormone Replacement Therapy for the peri-menopausal women
