    Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital offers high-quality comprehensive surgical care in a wide array of surgical specialties, including state-of-the-art, minimally invasive surgery. The surgical team consists of licensed, extensively trained staff, dedicated to providing the safest possible patient experience. Surgical programs include: Colorectal Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery and Vascular Surgery.

    Responsibilities

    *
  • Conducts comprehensive evaluations and regular podiatry care.
    * Provides wound care management.
    * Enters patient information and completes required clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
    * Communicates in a positive, service oriented manner with external sources (families, responsible parties and facilities including, but not limited to, DON, ADON, management and medical/office staff), and internal sources (Signature Healthcare physicians, office staff and administration) as needed.
    * Adheres to OSHA guidelines regarding patient care, disposal of materials, and sterilization of on a daily basis.
    * Responsible for applying proper coding guidelines and indicating appropriate billing codes for services provided to patients
    * Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    * D.P M.
    * Successful completion of a residency in an accredited three-year podiatric surgical residency program, completion of a foot fellowship, and board certified/board eligible in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot Surgery (ABFAS)
    * Current State professional license

    * Base salary for two years then wRVU with production and quality based compensation.
