    Description

    The primary role of the Clinical Supervision Leader is to guide, oversee and coordinate clinical supervisory activities at the local level. The Clinical Supervision Leader is expected to function in alignment with those evidence based treatments and practice models endorsed by Bowen Center leadership.

    Qualifications :

  • Education: Master's Degree in Behavioral Health field with the highest level of license in one's behavioral health discipline(s)
  • Certificate or Professional License: Two (2) years behavioral health experience post-licensure preferred though not necessarily required.
  • Experience: One or more years of formal or informal leadership experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and active liability insurance.
  • Satisfactory results from criminal background check.
  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
  • Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    The following tasks are the primary duties and responsibilities of an employee in this position. Any single position may not perform all of these tasks and/or may perform related tasks not listed here:

  • Implement deliberate, evidence-based practice.
  • Understand and implement the "Master Clinician" model, putting it in to practice and helping and holding accountable other local providers to do the same.
  • Lead using data. Using provided dashboard data to help local OP staff in improving outcomes and retention in cooperation with other office leaders.
  • Practice, teaches and holds others accountable for the routine use of outcome measures to plan and guide treatment.
  • Break down traditional specialty "silos" of behavioral health practice (e.g. mental health vs. substance use) to the benefit of the Center and those we serve.
  • Understands the chronic disease model of addiction and endorsed current evidence based practices.
  • Practices, teaches and holds others accountable for doing concurrent, collaborative (conversational) documentation.
  • Implement flexible scheduling to "deliver interventions" rather than "doing sessions" in a "one size fits all fashion.
  • Understand, practice and teacher principles of trauma-informed, attachment sensitive care.
  • Coordinate and help other coordinate with Skills Coach Leaders and Skills Coaches to support quality care.
  • Advocate for a systems-informed perspective in client care, seeking to involve significant others and caregivers in client care.
  • View and work with clients holistically
  • Advocate for and practice in a welcoming, inclusive and non-discriminatory manner aligned with Center Policy VII-786.
  • Uses data to inform decision-making.
  • Serve as back up for the Senior VP, Clinical Services and Clinical Director when they are not available.
  • Other duties as assigned.
