Full job description
The Housing Authority of the City of Jackson, Mississippi has an immediate opening for a Full Time Occupancy Specialist for the Section 8 Program.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Processing applications, completion of annual re-certifications, word-processing, typing, filing and correspondence are among the most important functions of the position.
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited high school, business or trade school with considerable experience in using computers.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Experience with Housing software and knowledge of federal housing programs and regulations is preferred.Send resume to:

Assists in processing applications.
Prepares and ensures completion of annual re-certifications.
Maintains and upgrades the filing system to better serve management.
Responsible for typing and filing information in participant files.
Support other Section 8 staff in daily program maintenance.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Housing Director.
