Float Pool RNs help ensure adequate staffing in all areas of the healthcare institution.Nursing is the diagnosis and treatment of human response to actual or potential health problems. This includes establishing an intentional therapeutic relationship between a registered nurse and a patient and family.
As a leader and the integrator of care, the professional nurse has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for planning, coordinating and evaluating the patient's care needs.
Provides nursing care across patient care departments in alignment with the nurse's experience and competencies.Key Position Details:
Unit Overview:
The Med Surg Float Pool offers RNs the opportunity to work across a variety of units, including Rehab, Med Surg (GIGU, Oncology, Progressive, and Renal), Neuro, Ortho, Short Stay/Observation, Spine, Telemetry (Cardiac Device, Open Heart, Post Procedure), and Vascular Telemetry communities.
This dynamic environment enables nurses to care for diverse patient populations with a wide range of diagnoses and disease processed, thereby establishing a solid foundation of experience.
