    **RATE OF PAY:** $ $20.85

    **PRIMARY OBJECTIVE**

    To provide support in handling all facility inventory by performing the following duties: receiving items, restocking items, sorting and placing shipments/products on racks, and preparing products for distribution.

    **NATURE AND SCOPE**

    The primary emphasis in this position is coordinating shipping and receiving activities to facilitate a timely and accurate order fulfillment process while ensuring all quality specifications. The primary learning challenge is the proper use of the equipment and product location. This position requires ongoing heavy lifting and pushing, walking, cleaning equipment, exposure to outside conditions and wet surfaces, social skills/verbal interaction, and judgment/decision making. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs (currently 8 hours between 3a-2p): assignments and work direction provided by Assistant Facility Manager, Facility Manager, or person in charge.

    **ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS**

    **Assist in receiving and shipping products and materials**

    Assist with obtaining ingredients and packaging, including proper documentation steps

    Put product away in the properly designated location, and ensure appropriate handling

    Alert management to any product that does not meet applicable standards for temperature or package integrity

    Date and sticker all products appropriately

    Audit all shipments using invoices; prepare discrepancy reports as needed

    Identify and resolve potential shipping issues or errors with both internal and external contacts

    Operate forklift, a power jack, and pallet jack to transport material on and off trucks and within the facility

    Maintain organization of the facility and stock

    Track overstock items stored in the facility

    Maintain filing system for all shipments received and distributed

    Utilize various hand tools in the performance of receiving shipments

    Maintained backroom sanitation and safety standards

    FIFO (Frist in First out)

    **Maintain accessibility for the stock by removing unnecessary cardboard**

    Remove empty/nearly empty product boxes off shelves and condenses shelf stock

    Break cardboard down and collects in the bin

    Dispose of cardboard properly

    **Follow all facility and department policies and procedures**

    Utilize personal protective devices (chemical resistant gloves, safety glasses/goggles, rubber over boots, chemical splash goggles) as instructed

    Follow proper use of equipment

    Follow proper lifting and all related safety rules and procedures; chemical safety, box cutter, Lock out-Tag out procedures,

    Ensure no one under 18 years of age operates hazardous equipment or compactors

    **Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies**

    Responsible for following and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan and any other programs that support the food safety, quality systems, and other 3rd party audits

    Ensure compliance with SQF standards, company policies, and government regulations

    Support and comply with all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, and preventative maintenance program

    Support and comply with GMPs
