- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
- State SPED teaching license required
- Proven experience working with students with special needs.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with diverse learners.
- Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
