We are seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to augment our Cloud & Infrastructure team during a period of rapid growth.
The ideal candidate is operationally strong, security-minded, and comfortable performing production network changes, firewall updates, and connectivity troubleshooting in a live environment.
This is a 6-month onsite role based in Frisco, TX, with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance and business need.
What You'll Do:
Administer and support enterprise LAN/WAN and data center network infrastructure.
Configure and maintain Layer 2 environments including VLANs, trunking, STP, and port channels
Support core, distribution, and access layer network architecture.
Perform firewall policy updates, NAT changes, VPN configuration, and high-availability support.
Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues, including VLAN-to-SSID mappings and RF-related performance concerns.
Execute production changes following change management practices.
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues.
Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and documentation.
Collaborate with Systems, Cloud, and Security teams to maintain secure and scalable infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on enterprise network administration experience.
Strong Layer 2 networking expertise (VLANs, trunking, STP, port channels).
Experience supporting data center networking environments (core/distribution/access models).
Hands-on enterprise firewall administration experience (policy management, NAT, VPNs, HA concepts).
Experience troubleshooting enterprise wired and wireless networks.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing fundamentals.
Experience performing production network changes in live environments.
Ability to work onsite in Frisco, TX.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Juniper switching infrastructure.
Experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls.
Exposure to routing protocols such as OSPF or BGP.
Experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Aruba, Cisco, Mist, etc.).
Relevant certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, PCNSE, NSE, or equivalent).
Experience in secure, compliance-driven, or defense environments.
