- Assesses patient status by obtaining health history and performing appropriate physical examination.
- Orders / performs appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests.
- Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws.
- Handles minor lacerations, patient & family education, resource recommendation, & chart documentation.
- Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient.
- Must be a NYS Licensed / Registered NP/PA
- Either Bachelor of Science Nursing or related field with the successful completion of advanced practitioner training program or Masters Degree as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred.
- Current certification as a practitioner (general or specialized)
- Current CPR certification.

CPS Recruitment is seeking full time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for a large outpatient medical practice in the greater Syracuse, NY area.
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing quality health care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients of all ages. Opportunities available in the Internal Medicine division.
NP/PA compensation is $105,000 - $147,000, depending on experience
